haskell-platform-prof software package provides Standard Haskell libraries and tools; profiling libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install haskell-platform-prof
haskell-platform-prof is installed in your system.
Make ensure the haskell-platform-prof package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep haskell-platform-prof *
You will get with haskell-platform-prof package name, version, architecture and description in a table
